Join Climate Ride 2008 for the first multi-day supported bicycle tour where you pedal to raise money and awareness for action on global warming. Climate Riders will cycle 320 miles in five days from New York to Washington D.C., following scenic country roads and finishing on the steps of our nation's capitol, where we will make a statement about our country's need for action.

A Report on Physical Activity of Missoula County Youth - The University of Montana Health and Human Performance Dept., the Missoula City-County Health Department and the physical activity subcommittee of the MCPS Wellness Committee have completed an ambitious project monitoring the physical activity patterns of 533 Missoula County students in 2nd – 12th grade.  These children wore accelerometers for five days, 24/7, and data from each of these children minute by minute were analyzed.

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy: 2010 Campaign for Active Transportation - At TrailLink 2007, Rails-to-Trails Conservancy officially kicked off the 2010 Campaign for Active Transportation, a grassroots movement to make walking and biking mainstream transportation options for communities across the country. The campaign will empower at least 40 communities to each advocate for $50 million in the next federal transportation reauthorization, anticipated by 2010.
