Frugal Cyclist's Guide to the Universe: An Evening with Willie Weir - FREE

When: 7:00 PM, Thursday, February 4, 2010
Location: The University of Montana Urey Lecture Hall
Description: Call him cheap, frugal, a tightwad or an initiator of kindness, but Willie Weir knows how to get the most bang for his buck when it comes to traveling the world by bicycle, whether he's giving the world's cheapest engagement ring, protesting an insanely over-priced fish dinner, knocking on doors for free lodging or eating his way to free ice cream. Willie will bring to life tales from his latest book, Travels with Willie - tales that will have you chuckling and leave you wanting to chuck your day job and hit the road on your bike! This lecture is co-sponsored by UM Campus Recreation and Adventure Cycling Association.

BWAM Annual Members' Meeting

Plan to join us at the 3rd Annual Bike/Walk Alliance for Missoula members' dinner/meeting to elect board members, review our accomplishments, plan the important support activities for the coming year, and renew friendships. If you are not a member or your membership has lapsed, plan to join or renew at the meeting or click to the "Join Us" page.

Join us for a potluck dinner and share your favorite take-along recipe. Beverages will be provided by BWAM. This will also be a time to share your thoughts about what makes Missoula a great biking/walking community and what you would like done to make it better. Dinner entertainment by Shane Clouse, Guest Speakers from City Government, Door Prizes.

January 30, 2010 at 6:30pm in the Lower Center of Christ the King Church; 1400 Gerald Ave. (corner of Keith & Gerald).
