HEALTH ENHANCEMENT WORKSHOP
Date: Monday, April 25, and Tuesday April 26, 2011:

Location: Jefferson School, 1700 South Ave. West, Missoula
Description: The “Journeys From Home” Elementary Traffic Education Program accentuates the positive, focuses on perception, decision making and mastering skills. The program supports what children like to do best; explore new places and experience new things. Each developmentally appropriate skill activity is classified by grade level. Every grade level has its own teacher’s manual and series of video vignettes.

2011 Ride of Silence
Date: Wednesday, May 18, 2011:
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: To Be Determined! 2010 ride began at Missoula County Courthouse front entrance on Broadway
Description: Annual slow silent bicycle ride to honor those cyclists killed or injured in bicycle / motor vehicle crashes. Please join use as we honor those who have gone before us. Please plan to arrive by 6:45pm. The ride will be approximately 7 miles and takes approximately 1 hour. For more information visit the international Ride of Silence web site.

Tonight we number many but ride as one
In honor of those not with us, friends, mothers, fathers, sisters, sons
With helmets on tight and heads down low,
We ride in silence, cautious and slow
The wheels start spinning in the lead pack

Remembering those we held so dear
